There's Something for Every Student

     The fall issue of Parent Link should be hitting your mailbox soon, or if you are participating in our "Go Green" efforts, you have already received your link by e-mail.  Please pay special attention to the Clubs insert. There are so many great clubs/activities at CMS for your student. The first activity/club day is coming up on Oct. 1, but many of the clubs are already recruiting members. Take time to talk to your student about his or her interests and e-mail the club sponsor if you have questions. Middle school students are more likely to excel in the classroom if they have feel like they "belong" and outside clubs/activities help them make more friends outside of the classroom. Encourage them to listen for sign-ups and get involved, especially before the first scheduled activity day (Oct. 1st).
